             abstract = "The use of new technologies for environmental mapping is 
                         increasing considerably, a technology that has emerged is the 
                         unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), but it should be understood what 
                         extent such information may be used and what level of quality 
                         data. Therefore, this study aimed to describe the pattern analysis 
                         of positional accuracy of digital photos taken by unmanned aerial 
                         vehicle (UAV), to analyze the level of positional quality, 
                         enabling the construction of a digital cartographic database for 
                         mapping green areas. Digital photos of the UAV were orthorectified 
                         using 13 control points obtained in the field on strategic and 
                         well-defined points. The orthorectified image was analyzed from 
                         the coordinates coming from the field, and these are configured in 
                         UTM projection and reference system SIRGAS2000. All points were 
                         tracked GNSS / RTK geodetic equipment tied to the geodetic network 
                         Campus Unisinos in S{\~a}o Leopoldo. For the study were collected 
                         in the field 31 points, such considered without errors. The result 
                         was within the specifications of the standard cartographic 
                         accuracy, which will allow the use of cartographic basis for 
                         mapping the green areas in the Unisinos Campus, located in 
                         S{\~a}o Leopoldo / RS.",
